Fair Haven’s music festival takes a deadly turn when Hugh DeGroot, a popular John Denver tribute singer, is found dead inside his tour bus after an apparent bee attack. Hugh was severely allergic, but Maggie Bell is convinced there’s more to his death than bad luck.
Hugh had plenty of enemies. A notorious womanizer, he had a habit of pursuing women who were already taken. As Maggie digs into the festival’s backstage drama, she uncovers secret affairs, bitter rivalries, and possible fraud.
Then a second man dies.
With the festival still in full swing, Maggie races to find the killer hiding among the performers before someone else takes a final bow.
